In the latest edition of our Energy Insider Interview Series, John Povilaitis, a shareholder at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney with nearly 20 years of past service for the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, interviewed Terry Fitzpatrick, the President and CEO of the Energy Association of Pennsylvania. As the leader of EAP, Mr. Fitzpatrick is the voice of Pennsylvania’s electric and natural gas utilities and is constantly advocating on behalf of the state’s energy companies before the Pennsylvania General Assembly, the Public Utility Commission, and various other state governmental agencies. In the interview Mr. Fitzpatrick discussed the priorities of his organization, what Pennsylvania laws he’s pushing for (and pushing against) in the coming year, and how an industry-wide focus on safety, championed by his organization, has delivered real results for workers across the state.
